What that means is, he is not signed to a "major" label with millions of dollars in their chest to promote his music. In order for his music to get to the level of being played on local radio stations in most of the world, there must be more promotion, the type of promotion that comes from the support of a "major" label or someone with a lot of money to invest. Therefore, since Paul Ranger is not yet signed to a major label, he must be proactive and creative in several ways, including, running this promotion so that the public will know he exist. Many well known artists were once nobodies. No one knew them until they were given a chance. From Paul Ranger's growing list of fans, there is a very good chance he will be successful and become well known. Giveaway Rules:

The "Love Paul Ranger's Music Giveaway" begins December 12, 2010 and ends May 31, 2011. Entrants must submit their entry by midnight May 31, 2011 eastern time USA.
Friends and family of Paul Ranger, Sponsors and their employees, friends and family of Sponsors and friends and families of employees of Sponsors, employees of jango.com and friends and families of jango.com are not eligible to enter and win. In this case, "friends" does not include on-line friends from "Social Network" web sites such as "FaceBook," "Myspace," and others like it, unless they are known off-line as well.
We have the right to cancel this "Giveaway" at anytime for any reason including but not limited to lack of participation by the public.
No entrant is allowed to enter with two different jango user names or are allowed to use a home address other than the place where the entrant resides. If more than one person enters with the same home address, each name must be the legal name of the entrant. Payments will only be made in the legal name of the winners. Entrants must supply proof of legal name with the proof being a government issued identification such as, a driver's license or personal Identification card etc…
Three weeks after "Giveaway" ends the winner/s will be determined by a random drawing from a list of individual Jango user names that includes their real names and addresses which were entered through the online "GIVEAWAY ENTRY BOX"
Entrants must be 18 years old and over in order to participate in this "Giveaway."
This Giveaway is void and you cannot participate if the country, State, province, city or region in which you live prohibits Giveaways such as this.
When the drawing is complete winners will be issued a check in the legal name of each winner after proof of name is established. If the winners prefer another method of payment such as a paypal transfers or bank transfer, the entrant's request must be made known through email by replying to the notification email which will be sent to each winner.
Each winner, which includes, the winner and the referrer of the winner, will be notified by email and must respond with necessary proof of identification within 30 days after notification is sent. If a reply with the necessary proof is not received by us within 30 days, another drawing will be held to determine another winner. The referrer of the winner will still be paid the value of 50% of the winner's money even if the winner forfeits the prize by not complying with the 30 day reply rule, unless, the referrer cannot meet the requirements either. However, the referrer of the new winner by forfeit will not get a referrers prize of 50% of the winner's prize money. If the referrer of the winner also fails to meet the 30 reply rule requirements, including sufficient proof of identity, the referrer of the new winner by forfeit will get a referrers 50% prize money.
The winner of the $200.00 prize and the referer of the winner of the $200.00 prize must provide a head shot image of themselves that will be posted on this web page. The image/picture must be uploaded to winnerspic@paulrangermusic.com and must be a .jpg or .gif file that is no more than 1mb and no less than 500kb in size. We will resize it to 800x800.

Odds of winning the $200.00 cash prize or the $100.00 referer prize are 1 in 70,000 each. 70,000 is the expected amount of participants in this promotion the "Love Paul Ranger Music Giveaway."
Winners are responsible for payments of government taxes if any against prize winnings.
Entrants agree not to hold us responsible should an electronic malfunction or any other malfunction that is out of our control causes Entrant's name or jango user name not to be entered in the giveaway.
