Why are we only accepting comments from people like Paul Ranger's music?

Musical taste is a personal and emotional thing. Therefore, not everyone will like the same performer or genre of music at any specific time. In the world, there are people who do not like and may never like even the most popular artists and musicians who are internationally known . Sorry! yes, there are some people who do not like your favorite artist, no matter who they are. However musical taste may change due to a few factors in an individual's life, which could include, one's age, Where and who they grew up with, the other person whom they were with at the time they heard a song, How often they heard a particular song, which, may cause them to grow to like the song, and, learning to appreciate a song's lyrics and the message the artist was trying to convey when he or she wrote the words. The last situation usually comes with age. From a young person's perspective, a song's lyrics may "suck" only because they have not lived long enough to experience the situation being expressed in the song. Many of us have gone through this.

Concerning the Artist, Paul Ranger,  we are not running The "Love Paul Ranger's Music Giveaway" promotion to find the Pros and Cons of Paul Ranger's music. I believe there would be a tremendous flood of people who would be willing to tear the music apart. There are numerous music critics in the world professional or self proclaimed.  At this time we can't accommodate them all. We are only looking for the people who like the music.  However, don't worry if you don't like the music, You will still be entered in the "Giveaway" and you or someone whom you refer here can still win.

Guys, can you remember listening to a certain song at a time when you were having a love affair with that girl who you couldn't live without. You were so much into her that a song that was her favorite became your favorite just because of the loving experience? On the other hand, you could not get that song out of your head that was popular when you broke up. You would relive the hurt every time you heard that song? I'm sure you ladies can identify with that also. You had developed an emotional attachment to the music.

You may have heard a song which spoke to an experience you've gone through, and come to appreciate it for that reason. If on the other hand, you cannot identify with the lyric's message, It may or may not impress you. Nevertheless you may just like the way the music sounds, simply because you like the sounds of the instruments being played or just the way the melody sounds.

In any case, music industry people know that no matter how good or bad a song sounds, it will never get a chance to become popular without promotion, especially on radio and television.
Therefore they will pump hundreds of thousands if not millions (Depending on whom the artist is) of dollars into promoting a song. Some of those dollars may be spent in a not so legal way(payola)in order to get their artist heard. Have you ever wonder why a song you don't care too much for, always get so much air play?  Industry people know that constant repetition will create at least familiarity if not popularity.  It usually pays off because for many people, a song which  they didn't pay too much attention to in the beginning, became one of their favorites, even many years later.

There are some music industry people who regret not taking a chance on several now famous artists because they didn't see the potential in them. The ones who gave them a chance had a positive flow in their bank account.  At the same time, some artists or groups whom they thought would make it big turned out to be duds. This will happen because, the listening public is the ultimate judge of an artist and his or her music, and will vote with their money.  No one is so smart to always know which artist or if a new genre will or will not make it. When Rap/Hip Hop was new, it was not accepted by main stream industry people. The artists were proactive and promoted it on the streets until the "Snobs"  took notice that the public was spending their money on the art form. They then started offering contracts to these independent artists.  Today, the Hip Hop crowd is among the new "music snobs" themselves.

We are not naive to believe that everyone will like an artist and his/her song at first encounter. It may take time to win people over or never. However the ones who will like an artist the first or second time will form a base that will keep the music alive and may win others over in time. We just need to show that here are enough people in the world who will make up that base. The worst case would be that no one likes the music at all. Such is not the case with The Artist Paul Ranger. He has been seeing an increase in his fan base before he started this current promotion. The hope is to take things to a higher level and show the industry that it is worth promoting Paul Ranger, and that, he will add value to their medium when they play his music.
